Togo Lottery Funds Youth and Women Entrepreneurs Through TCE 2025
Togolese National Lottery has channeled TCE 2025 lottery proceeds to empower youth and women entrepreneurs. The initiative combined a $35,374 top jackpot with funding for community development projects.

Competition Links Gaming Revenue to Social Development
LONATO and the Council of the Entente organized the October 9-30 campaign linking lottery participation to community impact. Proceeds funded youth and women entrepreneurship projects plus community initiatives including a medico-social facility at University de Kara. Marketing and Innovation Director Kokouvi Amédomé stated the competition aimed to “stimulate, reward and showcase the dynamism and creativity of young people and women in the realm of entrepreneurship and income-generating activities (AGR).”
LONATO partnered with the Council of the Entente to open project applications under two categories. Youth and Entrepreneurship required Togolese nationals aged 18-40. Women and Income-Generating Activities required women aged 20-50, individually or in groups. Ten youth-led projects received $3,537 each funding. Twenty women-led projects received $1,769 each.
Initiative Strengthens Public Trust Through Social Impact
By linking lottery participation to social impact, LONATO positioned itself beyond gaming operations as a national development partner. This approach strengthened public trust and emphasized responsible gaming principles. Players saw participation translate directly into social and economic benefits supporting local communities.
TCE 2025 set an example for West African lotteries, demonstrating gambling as a community change force while offering entertainment. The initiative funded entrepreneurship development and community facilities using lottery revenues.
