SuperSport to Broadcast CAF Interclub Competitions Across Sub-Saharan Africa
SuperSport and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have finalized new media rights agreements to broadcast the 2024/25 CAF Interclub Competitions throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.
New Broadcasting Agreement Announced
The recently concluded deal grants SuperSport the rights to air some of Africa’s premier club football competitions. These include the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2024/25, TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup 2024/25, CAF Women’s Champions League 2024, and the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup 2025.
Football enthusiasts across the region will have the opportunity to watch their favorite teams compete on SuperSport, known as “Your World of Champions.” Clubs such as Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, and Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will feature prominently. Additionally, renowned teams like Al Ahly (Egypt), Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), CR Belouizdad (Algeria), Raja Casablanca (Morocco), and TP Mazembe (DR Congo) have qualified for the Champions League group stages.
The draw for the group stages of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League is scheduled to take place at the CAF headquarters in Cairo on Monday, October 7, 2024. Fans are eagerly awaiting the matchups that will set the stage for the upcoming season.

SuperSport CEO Rendani Ramovha expressed satisfaction with the agreement, stating: “We are pleased to announce that we have agreed terms to broadcast the CAF Interclub Competitions, including the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, as well as the CAF Women’s Champions League and TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup happening in 2025.

We are committed to ensuring that CAF’s competitions, including its broadcast products, are world-class.”
