SportyTV Joins Forces with CD Leganés to Strengthen African Ties with European Football
CD Leganés has announced a new partnership with Africa’s sports network, SportyTV. The deal names SportyTV as the club’s main lateral sponsor through the end of the 2024–2025 season.

A new chapter in African football broadcasting
SportyTV, Africa’s sports network, has steadily expanded its footprint across the continent. Known for its wide reach in countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa, the channel offers free access to top-tier European football competitions including LALIGA EA SPORTS, the Premier League, Serie A, and Bundesliga.
Commenting on the partnership, the Business Director of CD Leganés noted:
“Our alliance with SportyTV goes far beyond a sponsorship deal. This is a strategic partnership that will integrate across multiple club verticals, offering us a powerful gateway into one of the world’s most important football markets. We are delighted to finalize this agreement and look forward to a long-lasting relationship.”
Highlighting African talent and connection to LaLiga
For SportyTV, this is not just a branding exercise — it’s part of a broader effort to connect African audiences with the passion and culture of Spanish football. The deal represents an opportunity to spotlight emerging African talent and create a stronger presence for African narratives in the European football landscape.
“SportyTV is the bridge that connects Africa with the best of European football. Together with C.D. Leganés, we want to bring the passion of LaLiga to African fans and give visibility to the continent’s talent. We are very proud to build a bond that will unite cultures, emotions, and dreams through sport,” said Miguel Puche, Brand Director at Sporty Group.
