Sporty Group Secures Multi-Year Broadcasting Rights for PFL Africa

African media and betting operator Sporty Group has entered a comprehensive broadcasting agreement with the Professional Fighters League. The multi-year deal positions SportyTV as the primary distributor of PFL content across four major African markets including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa.

Broadcasting Network Reaches 42 Million Households

SportyTV will provide complete coverage of PFL’s international competitions through its free-to-air platform. The service includes the PFL World Tournament, PFL Champions Series, and regional leagues such as PFL Europe and PFL MENA. All content will stream live through the SportyTV mobile application and official YouTube channels.

Sporty Group’s distribution network currently reaches over 42 million television households across Africa. The company’s extensive digital presence complements traditional broadcasting to maximize audience reach. Sporty Studios will produce promotional materials featuring visual content and narratives designed for African audiences.

PFL Africa League Launches with Regional Focus

The partnership supports PFL Africa’s inaugural season, which began July 19, 2025, in Cape Town, South Africa. Fighters from 15 African countries compete across four weight divisions for regional championships and opportunities to advance to PFL’s global competitions. SportyBet serves as the official betting partner, offering live odds and exclusive fan experiences.

Elias Gallego, Vice President of Business Development at Sporty Group, described the agreement as aligned with the company’s entertainment mission.
