Nigerian igaming developer Shacks Evolution Studios has partnered with Moja Group Inc., the operator behind Mojabet, to introduce two exclusive instant games designed specifically for African players. The titles, Mojawheel and Moja Citadel, will launch first on Mojabet’s platform before the developer’s complete instant game portfolio becomes available across multiple African markets.

Developer Targets Regional Connectivity Issues

Kwame Mensah, CEO of Shacks Evolution Studios, stated that the company creates games tailored to players’ actual circumstances. He noted the partnership with Moja Group enables the studio to reach millions of users while accommodating Africa’s diverse connectivity conditions and cultural backgrounds.

Founded in 2021, Shacks Evolution has developed instant and crash games including Matatu, which references Kenyan transportation culture, and Spin the Bottle. The studio has previously worked with platforms such as Betway and Atlaslive to expand its presence in emerging markets. Moja Group operates Mojabet from Mauritius, serving customers in Nigeria, Senegal, and other countries through sports betting and casino products. The company holds partnerships with providers like GR8 Tech and Amusnet and serves as Olympique de Marseille’s official African betting partner through 2028.

Market Growth Driven by Mobile Access

Amina Diallo, Chief Marketing Officer at Moja Group, explained the partnership extends beyond simply adding new games. She emphasized that Mojabet aims to offer players content reflecting their own experiences, making each interaction feel more personal.

Africa’s online gaming industry continues expanding, supported by a predominantly young population that favors mobile devices and increasing availability of digital payment options. Partnerships focused on lightweight, accessible content help operators meet growing demand without requiring high-end hardware or strong network signals. This approach potentially attracts users who might otherwise avoid online gaming due to technical barriers.
