Kenyan Punter Wins KSh109 Million from Six Bets in a Single Day
Kenyan businessman Bob Muriuki has made headlines by winning KSh109 million through six multiple bets placed on the same day, marking the largest payout in Mozzart Bet’s history.
From Modest Stakes to Massive Wins
Engaged in the car spare parts business part-time, Muriuki had never anticipated such a windfall. He placed his winning bets with just KSh37 each. “I am really happy to win this huge amount. I have been betting for a very long time,” he expressed.
He detailed how he maximized his bets for higher returns. “I put a stake of KSh200 and placed bets. Then I realized the odds were too high and wondered how many games would enable me to win KSh16 million. Out of desperation, I saw it was KSh37 and placed the same bet five times,” Muriuki explained.
A devout individual, he plans to share his fortune. “I plan to give God his share. Most people give 10%, but that is not the threshold, so I will do more than 10%,” he stated.
Mozzart Bet’s Acknowledgment
Mozzart Marketing Manager Frank Ochieng’ expressed enthusiasm while handing over the cheque. “Bob Muriuki is our biggest winner since our inception; he has benefited from one of our biggest products, which is the 1000% bonus,” he noted, emphasizing the importance of prudent use of the winnings.
Facing financial challenges at the time, his winning streak was nearly jeopardized. He had predicted that both teams would score in the Kenya vs. Namibia match, and a goal in the 94th minute secured his win.
