Galaxsys Partners with Betika to Launch Game Portfolio in Africa
Galaxsys, the game developer behind the popular games, has partnered with Betika, one of Africa’s biggest sports betting operators. This partnership will see over 30 Galaxsys games go live on Betika’s platforms, giving users in Kenya, Ghana, DRC and Tanzania access to a huge range of games.
New Games for African Markets
This is a big move for Galaxsys as the company continues to grow globally. The partnership with Betika fits with Galaxsys’ overall strategy of entering emerging markets. The African market with its growing interest in online gaming and sports betting is a key opportunity for Galaxsys to reach a large audience.
Galaxsys has been proactive in its approach to market expansion. In August 2024, the company signed a content aggregation deal with Infingame to enter the Latin American market. Galaxsys also strengthened its European presence by getting a gaming license in Sweden. Both of these moves show the company’s commitment to diversify its operations and reach new customer bases worldwide.
Teni Grigoryan, Chief Sales and Partner Management Officer at Galaxsys, said: “We’re thrilled to team up with Betika, a major player in the African gaming scene. This partnership is a significant milestone for us as we expand into a region, we’ve been eager to connect with. Betika’s impressive reach across more than 10 African countries and its deep understanding of local player preferences make it the perfect partner. Together, we’re set to bring our innovative content to a broader audience and create something special for gamers across the continent.”
Betika’s African Presence
Betika has been operating since 2016 and has a large customer base across over 10 African countries. The addition of Galaxsys’ games will give Betika’s users more entertainment options and cement its position as the leading sports betting and gaming operator in the region.Among the well-known titles that will be made available to Betika users in Kenya, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania are Crash, Rocketon, Crasher and Starlight.
Peter Stagles, Product Officer at Betika commented: “We are eager to bring these exciting new titles to our audience across Africa and look forward to a successful collaboration that will set new standards in the gaming industry.”
