BMM Testlabs Promotes Obed Mathabe to Vice President of Operations in Africa
BMM Testlabs has announced the promotion of Obed Mathabe to Vice President of Operations for Africa. This move recognizes Mathabe’s exceptional contributions to the gaming industry and his leadership in driving operational excellence across the region.
A New Chapter in Leadership for Africa
In his expanded role, Mathabe will oversee all African operations, focusing on strategic initiatives and enhancing service offerings. His background in operational management, business development, and regulatory compliance makes him uniquely suited to lead BMM Testlabs’ growth on the continent.

A Career Built on Expertise and Commitment
Mathabe’s history with BMM Testlabs is extensive. Most recently, he served as Operations Manager at BMM Testlabs South Africa, where he directed operational activities to achieve business goals in technical services, management information systems, and project administration. He has also held roles such as Business Development Manager, shaping market access and sales strategies, and Technical Compliance Manager, providing expert consultancy and strengthening relationships with regulators and clients.
Outside BMM, Mathabe founded and directed Gaming Sight (Pty) Ltd., growing its presence in the African gaming market. Earlier in his career, he managed technical departments and ensured regulatory compliance at Tsogosun and Royal Caribbean International.
