Betika Sponsors 2025 Mbeya Tulia Marathon in Tanzania
Betika has officially announced its sponsorship of the Tulia Marathon 2025. This year’s edition, titled Betika Mbeya Tulia Marathon 2025, will take place on May 9–10 in Mbeya, Tanzania. The event aims to raise funds to improve health and education infrastructure in the region.
Partnership with a Purpose
The Tulia Marathon is organized under the leadership of Dr. Tulia Ackson, Speaker of the Tanzania National Assembly, through the Tulia Trust Foundation. The event serves as a platform to raise funds for critical development projects in the Mbeya region, with a particular focus on healthcare and education access.
Betika is calling on all Tanzanians to join them in Mbeya this May. The marathon is more than a race – it’s a platform for unity, pride, and positive change.
Betika’s Engagement and National Mobilization
Ahead of the marathon, Betika representatives, together with Times FM Chairman Mr. Rehure Nyaulawa, visited Hon. Albert Chalamila, the Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam. They presented him with the official marathon jersey and invited him to participate.
Hon. Chalamila pledged to sponsor 200 residents of Dar es Salaam to travel and join the marathon – an act of strong public support that emphasizes the event’s national significance.
